"Bronze Bark Course" (Two week Board/Train Program)

"Bronze Bark Course" (Our two week Board and Train Program) is the basic program that begins introducing common terminology and basic obedience comprehension. The goal of this package is to provide a solid foundation of behavior that will need to be reinforced at home.

Commands Introduced:

“Sit” (Sit on your bottom)

“Come” or “Here” (Come when called)

“Down” (Lay down)

“Yes” (That is the correct behavior I am looking for)

“No” (This is incorrect behavior)

Handling: Allows your dog to feel comfortable when being picked up and handled by family members, groomers, and veterinarians. Your dog will start to be comfortable with their faces, paws, ears, and tail to be touched and handled.

Socialization Skills: Your dog will socialize with other dogs and both male & female handlers daily.

Introduction To Routines:

Potty training, exercise, mealtime & bedtime routines


Crate Training:

Our crate training teaches your dog/puppy that the crate is a safe place and their personal home.

Beginner Leash Manners:

Introduces your dog to harness/collar and leash.

Potty Training:

Potty routine/schedule begins based on your dog’s needs. Our trainers can work with either potty pad training, outside training and/or doggie door. Please advise your trainer of your preference.


"Silver Bark Course" (Four week Board/Train Program)

"Silver Bark Course" (Our four-week, Board and Train Program) is a popular program as it is more progressive than the two-week training and minimizes the work you will have to do at home. This training begins to instill the characteristics of a “trained” dog and will enable your dog to be more independent with commands and mannerisms.


Commands Introduced:

· “Sit” (Sit on your bottom)

· “Come” or “Here” (Come when called)

· “Down” (Lay down)

· “Yes” (That is the correct behavior I am looking for)

· “No” (This is incorrect behavior)

· “Stay” (Stay where you are)

· “Drop it” (Drop anything they decide to put into their mouth)

· “Place” (Go to place)



Handling:

Allows your dog to feel comfortable when being picked up and handled by family members, groomers, and veterinarians. Your dog will be comfortable with their faces, paws, ears, and tail to be touched and handled.

Socialization Skills: Your dog will socialize daily with other dogs and both male and female handlers. New people, places and low level distractions are being introduced.

Crate Training: Teaches your dog that the crate is a safe place and their personal home. Your dog will be taught to minimize crying or barking and potty accidents while in the crate.


House Manners:

No jumping. dogs will try to jump on you for attention. We will work to prevent and correct this habit.

No nipping. Dogs love to use their mouths to communicate! This can form a bad habit and this program will work to prevent it.

Leash Manners:

Introduces your dog to the collar/harness & leash

Begins walking on a leash

Familiarizes your dog with wearing a collar


Establishing Routines:

Our trainers will follow a daily routine that they will use throughout the length of the training program. This includes:

Potty training routine

Mealtime routine

Exercise routine

Bedtime routine

Our trainers will continue the lengthy process of correcting your dog from pottying within your house, on the floors, within the crate, or on furniture. Our trainers can work with either potty pad training, outside training and/or doggie door. Please advise your trainer of your preference.

"Gold Bark Course" (Our six-week, Board and Train) is amongst our top-rated training programs. With this program, your dog will begin to master their commands and exceed your expectations.

Potty Training:

With this program, your dog’s chances of going home and still having an occasional accident is minimized. Your dog will also be taught to hold their potty until it is time to go outside.


"Platinum Bark Course" (Eight week Board/Train Advanced Obedience)

"Platinum Bark Course" (Advanced Obedience) Our eight-week, Board and Train Program is our premier training package and is the most sought after for emotional support training for your dog. With eight weeks of training, you leave all the hassles to us, affording you the least amount of work needing to be done at home. This is our Advanced Obedience Package.

“Crate” or “place” (Tells your dog they need to go to either their crate or their bed)

“Distractions” your dog gets comfortable following commands with distractions and in public places.

Sit politely while a stranger approaches.

With the eight-week program, your dog will be more precise with their commands in different places, around new people with different levels of distractions.

We begin imprinting on your dog to learn to become a better communicator and to notify you when it is time for them to go out and potty. This may be done by sitting and waiting or ringing a bell. Please notify your trainer if ringing a bell is something you would be interested in.


Any training course may be customized around your dogs individual needs and to reach desired training goals and behaviors. Dog training is Not a "A One Size Fits All" process. Just like us humans, no two dogs are alike.
